Cookie Policy
Effective date: 2026-07-18
1. What Are Cookies and Why Are They Used?
A cookie is a small text file that a site you visit places on your browser. Nidiet uses two types of cookies: (1) strictly necessary cookies — those required for the service to function (keeping your session open, protection against forged requests/CSRF, remembering your preferences); (2) analytics and marketing cookies — cookies that are activated only with your explicit consent, used for visit statistics and advertising measurement. Strictly necessary cookies always operate; analytics/marketing cookies are not loaded unless you say “Accept” on the cookie banner.
2. List of Cookies Used
All identifiers that may be used on Nidiet are listed below. No cookie not included in the list is used.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_nss | Strictly necessary (session cookie) | Maintaining the session and CSRF protection. Set as HttpOnly, Secure
and SameSite=Strict; cannot be read by JavaScript. |
For the duration of the session |
clients_tab | Preference | Remembering the last tab you opened on the client page in the panel. | 30 days |
moserra-theme | Preference (not a cookie) | Your light/dark theme choice. It is not a cookie; it is kept in your browser's local storage (localStorage) and is never sent to the server. | Until you delete it |
nid_consent | Strictly necessary (preference record) | Remembering your cookie choice (accept/reject) so that the banner does not reappear on every
visit. SameSite=Lax. |
1 year |
_ga, _ga_* | Analytics — with explicit consent (Google Analytics) | Distinguishing visitors and sessions, anonymous site usage statistics. | Up to 2 years |
_ym_uid, _ym_d, _ym_isad |
Analytics — with explicit consent (Yandex Metrica) | Visit statistics and understanding site usage. | Up to 1 year |
_fbp, _fbc | Marketing — with explicit consent (Meta) | Advertising measurement and conversion matching (Meta Pixel). _fbc is created only
if you arrived by clicking on an advertisement. |
3 months |
Note: the clients_tab identifier is used only within the panel (app.nidiet.com) after you log
in; it does not appear on the promotional site (nidiet.com). Analytics and marketing cookies, on the other
hand, are set only on the promotional site and only with your consent —
never in the panel.
2.1. Analytics and Marketing Cookies (only with consent)
Analytics and marketing cookies are loaded only when you give consent on the cookie banner. If you say “Reject” or make no choice at all, these cookies are never set and no request whatsoever is sent to the relevant third parties (Google, Yandex, Meta). The tools we use are: Google Analytics (visit statistics), Yandex Metrica (visit statistics) and Meta Pixel (advertising measurement).
Fonts are served from our own server (e.g. they are not fetched from Google Fonts). If you do not consent to analytics/marketing cookies, your browser makes no request to any domain other than our own server when you visit nidiet.com. If you do consent, requests are sent only to the domains of the tools listed above (Google, Yandex, Meta).
3. Legal Basis
Strictly necessary cookies (_nss, nid_consent, session and
preference identifiers) are required for the service to be provided, in respect of the Law No. 5809 on
Electronic Communications and the KVKK; no explicit consent is sought for them (KVKK Art. 5/2(c) and
Art. 5/2(f)).
Analytics and marketing cookies (Google Analytics, Yandex Metrica, Meta Pixel), on the other hand, rely on your explicit consent (KVKK Art. 5/1). These cookies are not used unless you give consent on the cookie banner; you may withdraw your consent at any time.
3.1. Cookie Consent Banner
On your first visit to the promotional site (nidiet.com) you will encounter a cookie banner. Analytics and
marketing cookies are not loaded unless you say “Accept”; if you say “Reject”, only
strictly necessary cookies operate. Your decision is stored in the nid_consent identifier and
you can change it at any time via the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every
page.
4. Managing and Deleting Cookies
You can delete or block cookies from your browser settings. If you block the strictly necessary session cookie, you will not be able to log in to the panel; deleting the preference identifiers, on the other hand, only causes your theme and tab preferences to be reset and does not affect your access to the service.
5. Rights of the Data Subject and Applications
To exercise your rights under KVKK Art. 11, you may write to info@moserra.com. For details of your rights, please see the KVKK Privacy Notice.
6. Updates to the Policy
This policy is updated whenever the identifiers used change. The current version is always published on this page and the effective date is stated at the top.
